We’ve handpicked a preview of the most inspiring shows coming up – from galleries delivering micro-moments of joy to hip-hop jewellery and fashion retrospectives. Shows across the globe bring together themes of climate action, social justice, migration, technology and design evolution.

In London, the Design Museum presents Barbie®: The Exhibition, showcasing the evolution of Barbie’s design since 1959, including never-before-seen furniture and architecture. Meanwhile, Copenhagen Contemporary hosts an immersive exhibition by Argentinian artist Marta Minujín that transports you to the streets of Buenos Aires. The multisensory experience features elements of pop culture, mass consumerism and a blend of humour and political criticism in a psychedelic style.
